Objective:

The objective of IZ-1402 is to convert bundles of old manuscripts available as scanned PDF images into the easily searchable format to make it available on the  internet.

Solution:

This project verifies the source files provided by the client. It converts PDF pages to TIFF images. It extracts the embedded images from the PDF pages. It applies different pixel formats. This project provides the functionality to draw zones on particular images. It saves the information in the form of database for further linking & corrections i.e. tagging & cross-linking.
